OVERSEER GLORIA H. SMITH

Overseer Gloria is a devoted wife to Elder Randy Smith and a devoted mother to four children. She has three sons, Steven, Devin and Trentin,

and one daughter, LaShay. Overseer Gloria is a devout Christian and prayer warrior who accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She has dedicated her life to prayer and service in the kingdom of God. She answered the call to preach in December 1987 and was ordained in 1991.

The Lord often uses Overseer Gloria to minister to his people in miraculous ways during revivals, conferences and retreats. Signs, wonders and miracles often manifest while she ministers. The Lord has used and continues to use her to lead many lost souls to salvation, His people are healed, delivered and set free due to her obedience and submission to God. 

Overseer Gloria received mentoring, training, and teaching under the leadership of the late Bishop Robert C. Blake, Sr. for over 24 years. Bishop Blakes was a Prophet, Pastor and true Man of God who imparted spiritual wisdom and guidance to Overseer Gloria.  Many spiritual gifts were stirred and birth in her  while under Bishop Blake's tuteledge.

Many years ago, the Lord deposited a burden in Overseer Gloria's heart for women. She tarried in prayer until the Lord used his midwife, Prophettess Lisa Murray to help her give birth to the vision and brought it forth. The Daughters of Promise a mobile women's ministry was formed. The Lord

did not stop there, He began to give more direction and more of the vision began to unfold. In 2005 the next stage of the vision brought forth The Sons and Daughters of Promise Outreach Ministries. 

In June 2011 God elevated Pastor Gloria to an Overseer. Because of her obedience, sacrifice and dedication to the work of the Lord, He is using her as a midwife to help birth and bring forth new ministries. God began a great work in Overseer Gloria several years ago and He is not finished yet. For many, or called, but few are chosen and willing.

God hasn't finished with her yet. Overseer Gloria has found favor and her service is pleasing in the eyes of the Lord. The Lord continues to elevate her spiritually, her next stage in ministry will be as Apostle Gloria H. Smith.
